Indian Super League franchise Kerala Blasters FC have announced the signing of Slovenian striker Matej Poplatnik for the 2018/19 season.
The 25 year old Matej Poplatnik started his youth career in his native Slovenia with NK Domzale, ND Slovan Ljubljana and Olimpija Ljubljana.
He started his senior career with Zarica Kranj in 2010 before moving on to city rivals Triglav Kranj in the Slovenian PrvaLiga in 2012. After three seasons we went on to sign for FC Montana in Bulgaria in 2015, but after a season he returned to Triglav Kranj to play for them over the last couple of seasons in which he scored 46 goals in 68 league games.
Now he moves to the Kerala Blasters and the Indian Super League outfit will hope that Matej Poplatnik can solve their goalscoring problems from last season.
