LALIGA Football Seminar celebrates its second edition!

The event counted with the attendance of representatives from key Bulgarian professional football clubs such as Ludogorets Razgrad FC, CSKA Sofia, Levski Sofia, Botev Plovdiv and FC CSKA 1948 Sofia and was introduced by Milo Borissov majority shareholder in Palms Bet, Rossi McKee, president of Sports in Bulgaria Foundation, Ms. Jaione Cereijo, in representation of the Spanish Embassy in Bulgaria and Esteban Casado, LALIGA representative in the region.

Thus, the successful seminar was based on sharing key knowledge about Football through the insights from LALIGA and its clubs’ representatives and Bulgarian stakeholders and clubs. Alberto Heras, Getafe FC Business Manager offered a relevant keynote about business and brand strategies and Esteve Rodriguez, Sevilla FC Data Department Project Manager, shared highlights on its keynote about the use of data and technology on a football club.

Milen Nikolov, Sports Project Manager at Palms Bet stated “We were privileged to welcome back to Bulgaria LALIGA and receive first-hand insights from some top football professionals as well as some top Spanish clubs such as Sevilla FC and Getafe C.F. Massive applause to our Spanish friends who stood behind us since day one, contributed a lot to this incredible event, and showed all of us how they build a financially sustainable and highly successful league in only 10 years.”

On the other hand, the seminar had high-level spokespersons from LALIGA, which offered key details about how the Spanish top competition is leading the development of business and grassroots areas through a unique approach.

Thus, Ángel Bas, Economic Control Analyst at LALIGA, held a keynote about the Spanish competition economic control, a base on the success of LALIGA, analyzing how the situation was before its implementation, how it currently works and the specific approach for the transfer market and the players register.

Also, Jesús Pizarro, LALIGA International Projects Manager, offered a key perspective about the Boost LALIGA project, explaining the keys of the agreement with CVC and how are the projects being developed with LALIGA clubs thanks to the Clubs’ Office, pioneer in European football leagues. Jesús Campo, LALIGA International Projects Manager, shared insights about how the Spanish competition is developing camp methodologies and strategies around the world.

The second edition of LALIGA Football Seminar has been celebrated by all the attendants, as has become a must in the sports and industry calendar in the region, sharing key knowledges thanks to the collaboration between Palms Bet and LALIGA.
