Loyola School continued their good performance at the Jamshedpur Golden Baby League with another victory in the U-9s category against Hill Top School in Week 12 of the Jamshedpur Golden Baby League.
The victorious team in the U9s was Loyola Power Rangers who picked up the win against Ronaldo Hill Top School Jamshedpur.
The second edition of the Jamshedpur Golden Baby League 2023, hosted by Jamshedpur FC in conjunction with Jharkhand Football Association (JFA) and Jharkhand Sporting Association (JSA) has been divided into U-5, U-7, U-9, U-11 and U-13 categories for the benefit of kids across the city.
The 10-month long tournament will be held every Sunday morning at the Archery ground at JRD Tata Sports Complex to nurture development and add to the existing grassroots schools program run by the club during the week after school hours.
A total of 188 students turned up for the Baby League on Sunday, with the numbers increasing as interest in the league grows with each passing week.
The highest number was witnessed in the U-9s where 44 students were present, 40 students appeared in the U-11s, 42 students in U-7s, 36 in U-13s and 26 students turned up for the U-5s.
The U-7s and U-5s played four matches each, while U-9s played three matches. Two matches each were played by the U-11s and U-13s.
