A few days after the new ‘Home’ shirt, Blackburn Rovers and Macron, the Hero company, have also unveiled the new ‘Away’ shirt that the team will wear during the upcoming season.
The design and technical aspects of the new ‘Away’ are based on the first ‘Riversiders’ jersey with the division into two wide vertical bands. In the away version, the colours are red on the right and black on the left. The jersey has a crewneck with a white knit border, while the sleeve borders have alternating colours black on the red part, red on the black part. The backneck is personalised with a label on a blue background with the English club’s logo in the centre. Blackburn motto ‘Arte et Labore’ appears in white on the backneck.
The Macron Hero is on the right chest in white silicone print, while the club crest is on the heart side. As for the Home shirt, the detail of the red rose of Lancashire characterises the ‘Away’ jersey, whose design appears at the bottom left, tone on tone and in embossed graphics.
