Manchester United have announced the club has reached agreement with Real Madrid for the transfer of French international defender and 2018 FIFA World Cup winner, Raphaël Varane, subject to a medical and to player terms being finalised.
After earlier signing winger Jadon Sancho, Manchester United now have also strengthened their backline with the signing of Raphaël Varane.
The transfer fee is in the region of 50 million Euros with add ons and he will sign a four to five year contract after his medical.
Real Madrid in an official club statement said, “Real Madrid wants to show all its affection to Raphaal Varane and his family and wishes him good luck in this new stage of his professional career.”
