Mehrajuddin Wadoo appointed as new Real Kashmir FC head coach!

Former India international Mehrajuddin Wadoo has been appointed as head coach of his home state side Real Kashmir FC for the 2022/23 I-League season.

38 year old Mehrajuddin Wadoo, who was born in Srinagar in then Jammu & Kashmir, came through the local football system before impressing for the Jammu & Kashmir U-19s for HAL from Bangalore to sign him.

Thereafter Mehrajuddin Wadoo went on to play for ITI, Mohun Bagan AC (twice), East Bengal Club, Salgaocar FC, Mohammedan Sporting Club, FC Pune City, Kalyani Bharat FC, Chennaiyin FC, Sporting Clube de Goa, Mumbai FC and Mumbai City FC.

Mehraj started off his coaching career with the FC Pune City Academy side and then worked as an assistant coach with Hyderabad FC.

Last season, Mehraj coached Sudeva Delhi FC in the I-League and now he replaces long-time coach David Robertson at Real Kashmir FC from his home state.
