I-League champions Minerva Punjab FC have added some Brazilian flare to the attack by adding Robert de Souza to its squad for the 2018/19 season.
The 27 year old is up and ready for the long season as he enters the country’s top division.

“I’m very happy to sign for this club. Minerva is a good club, THE big team in India. We’ll be playing a lot of games this season which will play a vital role in my career.”
Taking the golden boot back home in Second Division League last season, Robert is keen on doing the same in the top division this time.
“Last season I scored many goals and I hope to score as many goals this season as well. It is a level up not just in terms of in-squad competition but the league as well. I would like to keep my good form going and score as many goals as possible.”
The Brazilian is all set to rejoin his former attacking partner C.S. Sabeeth at Minerva Punjab FC and is looking forward to keep that good combination up and running and score as many goals for the team as possible.
