Minerva Punjab FC ties up with Punjabi Spurs to enhance Grassroots & Academy Training!

Northern powerhouse Minerva Punjab FC who have lately been in the News for producing over 18 Footballers to various age groups of Indian National Team have now officially tied up with English Premier League’s giants Tottenham Hotspur FC to give their Grassroots Programmes and Academy a professional touch.

The tie-up would now see live screening of Tottenham Hotspur matches at Minerva Punjab FC Home Stadium. Former Tottenham Hotspur legends Clive Allen and Micky Hazard will also help in enhancing Minerva Punjab FC’s Grassroot Development and Minerva Punjab FC’s Academy based in Mohali which is India’s Largest Residental Academy with over 200 Footballers in it’s single campus.

Clive Allen, who is a retired English Footballer played for seven different London clubs. He also represented QPR, Arsenal, Crystal Palace, Tottenham Hotspur, Bordeaux, Chelsea, West Ham United, Millwall FC and Charlisle United. He also represented England U-21s and England. Notably he was also a part of Tottenham Hotspur Management, In his successful managerial spell he coached Football superstars like Gareth Bale, Luka Modric, Robbie Keane, Dimitar Berbatov, Rafael van der Vaart, Ledley King to name from a few.

Micky Hazard, too of English decent is a former Tottenham Hotspur player having represented four English League clubs like Chelsea, Portsmouth, Swindon Town besides Spurs. He also managed Barnet-based Hadley FC which plays in Spartan South Milands League’s Premier Division.

With the addition of Allen and Micky to the Punjab based club, their development would surely boost the clubs morale who have produced numerous talents to the Indian National Junior and Senior Team within just one year of its existence in top flight football.
