Chanmari FC were able to earn a point against Mizoram Police in the second Mizoram Premier League fixture of Friday.
The two time champions had taken an early lead after Lalhriatpuia was able to apply the finishing touches in the box from a ball supplied in from the left.
They had opportunities to put the game to bed as they were able to exploit a nervous Police backline on several occasions. But their profligacy ultimately cost them victory as Lalnunsanga scored an equaliser late on for the Mizoram Police.
Mizoram Police FC find themselves back in second place, four points down on Aizawl FC. Chanmari FC currently stay seventh, three points above Electric Veng FC and FC Bethlehem.
