Mohammedan Sporting Club missed the chance to go second in the Kolkata Zone standings as they suffered a 0-2 defeat to United SC in the ongoing U-16 Youth League on Sunday afternoon.
The Purple brigade won the match in the second session as Tarak Hembram in the 75th minute and Ram Hembram in the 88th minute were on target for United SC at the Kalyani Municipal Stadium.
Following this victory United SC remain second in the standings with now 13 points from six games while Mohammedan Sporting dropped into fourth as they stay on nine points from the same number of matches.
