Mohammedan Sporting’s Ramon hails teamwork after Bengaluru FC B win!

“It was great work of attitude and chemistry that saw us through,” reflects Mohammedan Sporting Club coach Saheed Ramon after the Second Division League game against Bengaluru FC B. “We anticipated a tough game and credit to the entire team. They really worked hard for this win.”

The encounter finished 1-0 in favour of the Black Panthers with Man of the Match Jiten Murmu finding the back of the net in the second-half.

“The match was tough. Credit goes to Bengaluru FC. They really gave us a run for our money. It’s not always about how you play; it is about getting the points in the bag,” Ramon added.

“We created some chances that could have buried the game earlier in the first-half. There were moments of transition during the game that we could have exploited. Moving the ball quickly from the back could have resulted in more opportunities. When you have collected three points it makes it easy to go back and fix the mistakes,” the Nigerian mentor explained.

“I want to repeat and emphasise that I don’t look at the log that much. I am not really interested in the log positions. We focus on the game and try to find the right balance always. I have maintained that we will stay grounded and humble about the situation. We will not be carried away and we will continue working hard to get better.””

Ramon was also pleased with the fact that they were able to keep a clean-sheet in second successive match.
