Kolkata giants Mohun Bagan have announced the signing of Tajikistani forward Komron Tursunov from FC Istiklol for the remainder 2019/20 season.
Komron is a young 23 year old forward who started his career at Regar-TadAZ Tursunzoda club in Tajikistan. He joined Istiklol FC in 2018 after scoring 23 goals in 57 matches.
Tursunov made his Tajikistan senior national team debut on October 2, 2018 against Nepal. Tursunov is a regular for the Tajikistan national team. He played and scored against Indian National Team in the 2019 Intercontinental Cup.
Komron will replace Mohun Bagan’s Spanish winger Julen Colinas, who is out with a long-term injury.
Komron Tursunov is expected to join the Mohun Bagan squad after the winter break.
