Indian Super League franchise Mumbai City FC have signed experienced Brazilian centre back Marcio Rosario ahead of the upcoming ISL – Season 4.
33 year old São Mateus-born Márcio Nascimento Rosário is an experienced centre back who has played in his native Brazil for Linhares, Juventude, Caxias-RS, Macaé-RJ, Inter-SM, and América-RN before moving to Al-Jazira in the UAE.
In 2010 Marcio Rosario returned to Brazil to play for Botafogo, Fluminense and Náutico before in 2012 he moved to Portuguese side CS Marítimo. After two seasons he moved to Suphanburi FC in Thailand and in the first half of 2017 he played for Persatuan Sepak Bola Lamongan in Indonesia.
Together with Romania’ Lucian Goian he could form a solid partnership at the heart of defence for Mumbai City FC going into the season.
