Mumbai City FC sign left-back Subhasish Bose from Bengaluru FC!

Indian Super League franchise Mumbai City FC have announced the signing of India international left-back Subhasish Bose from ISL rivals Bengaluru FC.

22 year old Kolkata-born Subhasish Bose is currently on a high after making his India debut at the ongoing Intercontinental Cup. After starting off his football in Kolkata, he joined the Peninsula Pune FC Academy in 2012. He had a loan spell with Churchill Brothers before joining Sporting Clube de Goa for the 2016/17 season.

After a successful campaign, Subhasish Bose signed for Kolkata giants Mohun Bagan AC and there continued to improve. In 2017, Subhasish Bose signed for Bengaluru FC from the ISL draft and became a key player in Albert Roca’s side. Now he makes the switch to Mumbai City FC.

Subhasish Bose said, “I am excited to be part of Mumbai City FC for the next two years. I have heard many good things about the club and am glad to be a part of it.”

“Hopefully, we will be able to give the fans something to cheer about. Lucian Goian has been a great leader and defender in the league and I am looking forward to playing alongside and learning from him,” Subhasish Bose added.

Mumbai City FC CEO Indranil Das Blah said, “We are glad to have acquired one of the best young footballers in India today. In just a few years, Subhasish has shown that he belongs with the best. He has an extremely promising career ahead of him. We at Mumbai City FC are fortunate to have his services for at least the next two years, and hopefully more.”
