Indian Super League franchise Mumbai City FC have announced the signing of midfielder Surchandra Singh from I-League side Real Kashmir FC.
25 year old Manipur-born Surchandra Singh played football locally before joining Shillong-based Langsning FC. He had his senior breakthrough season with DSK Shivajians FC in the 2015/16 I-League before moving on to play for Mohun Bagan AC and Real Kashmir FC, where he had a very successful season with the Srinagar-based club.
Now Surchandra moves for the first-time to an Indian Super League side in Mumbai City FC and will have to proof his class against a formidable Islanders midfield.
Jorge Costa further strengthens our squad with another versatile addition to the team. Surchandra Singh is a box-to-box midfielder who is also capable of playing on the wings. The 25-year-old joins us from Real Kashmir FC. #WelcomeSurchandra #ApunkaTeam #TheIslanders pic.twitter.com/8eiGUDEOZr
