I-League runners-up NEROCA FC have brought back attacking midfielder Malemnganba Meitei to the Orange Brigade for the 2018/19 season.
26 year old Yairipok-born Kshetrimayum Malemnganba Meitei started his youth career with NEROCA FC and also made his senior debut at the club before signing for Manipuri rivals NISA. He performed that well in the Second Division League for NISA that I-League promoted Hindustan Aeronautics Limited SC of Bangalore signed him.
After two seasons at HAL, Malemnganba Meitei signed for Goan giants Salgaocar FC, but after only playing Goa Professional League, he shifted to newly formed Bengaluru FC where he was part of the 2013/14 I-League winning squad as well as winning the Federation Cup the next season.
In 2015 he moved to Mumbai FC to play for another I-League side before moving back to NEROCA FC for the 2016/17 season, in which the team finished runners-up in the 2016 Durand Cup and then went on to win the 2016/17 Second Division League.
In the summer of 2017, Malemnganba Meitei was part of the ISL draft and was signed by NorthEast United FC, for whom he played seven matches. After the end of ISL-4, Malemnganba Meitei went on loan to Manipuri side TRAU FC to play for them in the Second Division League.
Now he is back for a third-time with NEROCA FC for the 2018/19 season.
