I-League side NEROCA (North Eastern Re-Organising Cultural Association) FC have announced the signing of Spanish striker Sergio Mendigutxia ahead of the 2021/22 season.
28 year old Avilés-born Sergio Mendigutxia Iglesias played at youth level for El Quirinal, Peña Sport, Atlético Villalba, Collado Villalba, and Athletic Bilbao.
AT senior level he would go on to play for CD Basconia, La Roda CF, Córdoba CF, Sporting Gijón, UD Logroñés, Racing Club de Ferrol, UD Sanse, Stal Mielec, and Club Marino de Luanco.
Sergio Mendigutxia has mainly played in Spain with a season in Poland with Stal Mielec. He now moves to India with NEROCA for his first stint in Asia.
