NEROCA sign Australian midfielder Nick Ward for rest of season!

Promoted I-League side NEROCA FC, who are still in the title race, have signed Australian attacking midfielder Nick Ward for the remainder of the 2017/18 I-League season and the upcoming inaugural Super Cup.

32 year old Perth-born Nicholas Andrew Ward started his youth career with Olympic Kingsway, ECU Joondalup, and AIS before making his professional debut with Perth Glory in 2003. He then went on to play for Stirling Lions, Perth Glory (twice), Queens Park Rangers, Brighton & Hove Albion, Melbourne Victory, Wellington Phoenix (twice), Iraklis, Newcastle Jets, Western Sydney Wanderers, and Bentleigh Greens.

Nick Ward has also played for the Australian national team at the Under-20 and U-23 level.

He last played for Bentleigh Greens in the National Premier League of Victoria.

Nick Ward gives NEROCA an additional attacking option and he could make his debut in the upcoming I-League match against Mohun Bagan on February 18 at the Khuman Lampak Main Stadium in Imphal.
