The new Spanish LaLiga giants FC Barcelona home kit is defined by an updated interpretation of the traditional Blaugrana stripes and Aeroswift technology, for cutting edge performance replete with contemporary detailing.
“Pulling on the new Barça kit for the first time creates a mixture of pride and optimism for the season ahead. It looks and feels like a modern uniform of sport,” said striker Neymar Jr.
On the shirt, attenuating vertical red bands are cast against a deep royal blue to form the updated stripe composition. Detailing inspired by the club’s history and culture can be seen on the collar, which is partially defined by the Catalan flag, the Senyera. On the inside of the shirt the word “Força” on the inner right sleeve and “Barça” on the left remind of inner club pride.
The shirt’s engineered knit zones, creating a subtle geometric pattern, enhance fit for the athlete in motion characterize the fit and feel.

The sides of the kit feature a dark red stripe that runs the length of the Blaugrana shirt and blue shorts. Expanding when the player is in motion, the stripe maximizes ventilation.
Blue socks, incorporating Nike Grip technology, feature “Barça” on the front in contrasting gold, and a distinctive linear on the back of the calf, showcasing the club’s red accent color and accentuating speed.
COMMITMENT TO SUSTAINABILITY
Nike leverages sustainable innovation for its football kits through the use of recycled polyester, delivering unrivaled performance and lower environmental impact.
The kit’s shirt and shorts are constructed with recycled polyester fabric, which is made from recycled plastic bottles melted down to produce a fine yarn.
Each kit is made using approximately 16 recycled plastic bottles. Since 2010, Nike has diverted more than three billion plastic bottles from landfills into recycled polyester, enough to cover about 5,200 football pitches.
NIKE AEROSWIFT TECHNOLOGY
These are Nike’s most technologically advanced kits ever, using new AeroSwift technology they are now 10% lighter, with 50% more stretch than last season’s kits. They use a new, textured high-performance yarn that wicks sweat from the skin 20% faster ever before, while drying 25% faster. The shirt and shorts are also constructed using a new knitting process that integrates single and double knit to enhance breathability, stretch and fit.
