NorthEast United FC part ways with head coach Robert Jarni!

Struggling Indian Super League franchise NorthEast United FC tonight after their match against Jamshedpur FC announced that they have parted ways with their Croatian head coach Robert Jarni.

NorthEast United FC had started the season well, but the longer it lasted, the more the team fell down the ISL table with the club currently being a lowly ninth.

For the rest of the season, assistant coach Khalid Jamil will be in-charge of the NorthEast United FC squad.

NorthEast United FC in an official statement said,

Northeast United would hereby like to confirm that the club has parted ways with head coach Robert Jarni and his coaching staff through mutual agreement. The decision has been taken keeping in mind the best interests of the club and recent performances in the ISL.

Northeast United FC would like to thank Mr Jarni and his team for their service over the last five months.

The club is currently looking for a viable replacement to bring more stability and sustainability to the team.

Assistant Coach Khalid Jamil will take over as the interim coach for the time being before the club finds a suitable replacement.
