Indian Super League franchise NorthEast United FC have announced that they have replaced head coach Marco Balbul with Vincenzo Alberto Annese.
The Highlanders have had the worst-ever start in the history of the Indian Super League, losing all their eight matches so far.
That prompted the club management to part ways with Israeli head coach Marco Balbul and bring in former double I-League winning Gokulam Kerala FC head coach Vincenzo Alberto Annese from Italy.
NorthEast United FC will hope that their campaign under Annese will take a turn for the better with the club looking to strengthen their squad in the winter transfer window.
