NorthEast United FC retain defender Robert Lalthlamuana for ISL-5!

Indian Super League franchise NorthEast United FC have announced that they have retained seasoned left-back Robert Lalthlamuana for ISL-5.

29 year old Mizoram-born Robert Lalthlamuana is a former cadet of the renowned Tata Football Academy, where held also appeared for the India juniors.

He signed his first professional contract with then giants Churchill Brothers SC in 2008. In his first season with the club, he went on to become 2008/09 I-League champions and also win the Durand Cup.

After three seasons in Goa, Robert Lalthlamuana shifted to Kolkata to sign for East Bengal Club in 2011. He spend six seasons with the red and golds while having loan spells with Delhi Dynamos (2014, 2015) and Atletico de Kolkata (2016) across the first three seasons of the Indian Super League before being signed in the 2017 ISL draft by NorthEast United FC.

Now Robert Lalthlamuana extends his stay with the Guwahati-based ISL franchise.
