NorthEast United FC retain goalkeeper Subhasish Roy Chowdhury!

Indian Super League franchise NorthEast United FC have announced the retention of experienced goalkeeper Subhasish Roy Chowdhury ahead of the 2021/22 season.

34 year old Kolkata-born Subhasish Roy Chowdhury played locally before joining the renowned Tata Football Academy.

Subhasish started his senior career with East Bengal Club in 2004 and then went on to play for Mahindra United (2005-10) and Dempo SC (2010-14) in the I-League, before joining Atletico de Kolkata. He went on loan to East Bengal and thereafter played for Delhi Dynamos, FC Goa, East Bengal, Kerala Blasters and finally Jamshedpur FC in the 2018/19 season.

Subhasish moving to the NorthEast to join the Highlanders in 2019 and since then has made 30 appearances for the club.

Subhasish is a long-time number two of Team India and has four India caps to his name.
