NorthEast United FC sign Brazilian midfielder Wellington Priori for ISL-3!

NorthEast United FCIndian Super League franchise NorthEast United FC have added Brazilian Wellington Cirino Priori to their midfield ahead of the third season of the ISL.

The 26 year old Wellington was born in Sao Paulo and started his professional career with Brasil de Farroupilha in 2010 and moved on in 2012 to São José EC.

Wellington’s big break was supposed to come in 2013 with Durch Eredivisie side FC Twente Enschede but due to via issues and passport complications, he had to stay with São José EC.

In 2014, Wellington moved to Army United FC in the Thai Premier League, but was sent on loan to Pattaya United in the Thai Division 1 League in 2015 before joining South Korean K-League Classic side Gwangju FC in early 2016.

Now he moves to NorthEast United FC, who said about their new midfielder, “The tall and powerful midfielder is a versatile, tenacious and canny operator. Known for scoring spectacular goals, Wellington is a potent addition to the Club’s arsenal.”
