Indian Super League franchise NorthEast United FC have announced the signing of Northern Irish-born Australian defender Dylan Fox ahead of the 2020/21 season.
26 year old Northern Ireland-born Dylan Fox started his football in Australia with Sutherland Sharks, where he also made his senior debut.
He then moved to Bonnyrigg White Eagles before joining A-League side Wellington Phoenix based in New Zealand, where he initially played for the Reserves before becoming a regular with the first team.
In 2019, Dylan left for South Korean K League 2 side FC Anyang before returning to the A-League to play for the Central Coast Mariners.
Dylan Fox moving to India said, “I am really excited to join the NorthEast United family and I can’t wait to get started. I am really thankful for the head coach and the management for putting the trust in me this season and I am looking forward to having a good season together.”
NorthEast United FC’s executive director Priya Runchal said, “Dylan is a proven player in the A-League and a vital addition to our defence. Alongside Lambot and a good mix of young and experienced Indian defenders, we believe that we have a strong defence going into the season. We look forward to watching Dylan perform on the pitch.”
