Indian Super League franchise NorthEast United FC have announced the signing of midfielder Jithin M.S. from Gokulam Kerala FC for the 2022/23 season.
The Ollur in Thrissur district born Jithin M.S. played for Sree Kerala Varma College in Thrissur before playing Second Division League for FC Kerala.
The 24 year old impressed and was signed by Kerala Blasters, but only played for their reserves and had a loan spell with Bengaluru’s Ozone FC.
Over the last two seasons, Jithin M.S. then played for Gokulam Kerala FC and he went on to lift two I-League titles with the Malabarians.
NorthEast United FC technical director Ohad Efrat said, “Jithin is a versatile player who can create and score goals. Many teams wanted to sign him this summer but we managed to beat them in that race. We have a lot of confidence in his abilities.”
