Norwich City partner with Chennaiyin FC!

Norwich City have signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Indian Super League side Chennaiyin FC, forming a strategic partnership for collaboration and innovation.

The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) is for a period of three years, and was signed by the clubs in Chennai during a press conference attended by Ekansh Gupta, vice president of Chennaiyin FC, and Sam Jeffery, commercial director at Norwich City FC.

By joining forces, the clubs will create a platform for the exchange of knowledge, technical expertise, coaching methodologies, and player development strategies.

Chennaiyin FC bring to the partnership a deep understanding of the Indian football landscape, offering valuable insights into the unique challenges and opportunities of operating in this market.

Additionally, the clubs are eager to facilitate cultural exchange programmes and collaborate on joint marketing initiatives to engage diverse audiences and promote the vision of both clubs.

Jeffery commented upon signing the partnership, “This is an extremely exciting moment for Norwich City as we enter into our partnership with Chennaiyin FC, and with it the Indian football market.”

“India has the fastest growing sports economy in the world, and football is the fastest growing participation sport here too. Chennaiyin fC currently compete in the ISL, with their next match scheduled against Jamshedpur FC in Chennai on Thursday, April 4.
