Oceania’s OFC signs exclusive partnership with FIFA+!

Oceania Football Confederation (OFC) has partnered with FIFA+ as a strategic move to expand football exposure in Oceania worldwide.

This ground-breaking partnership from 2024-2025 involves OFC’s live streaming, data, and media rights and is instrumental in expanding OFC’s commercial programme.

FIFA+ has become the official home for all OFC competitions for the next two years – with all matches streamed globally. This partnership began with the Women’s Olympic Football Tournament – Oceania Qualifier from 7 -19 February in Samoa. Every game was broadcast LIVE and free on FIFA+.

OFC General Secretary Franck Castillo says the partnership is substantial, taking football in Oceania to the next level.

“In the last five years, OFC has gone to great lengths to grow football coverage across the Pacific and provide quality broadcast production standards to all fans.

“As a testament to these efforts, our social media following has increased by 110% and live streaming views by 200% since 2019. We have rallied media rights in the broadcast space and expanded our distribution from four regional TV broadcasters to 26.

“Now OFC is taking its strategy to the next level by providing LIVE, easily accessible football to the world, making Oceania football global with FIFA+,” he said.

“This partnership with FIFA+ marks a new era for Oceania football. It’s a monumental step towards realising our dreams and showcasing the talents of our region to a global audience. We are excited about the opportunities this collaboration unlocks and the new horizons it opens for our players, teams, and fans.

“We have also expanded commercially through selling our live streaming, media and data rights for the next two years – 2024 and 2025; this is a major step forward for us in the commercial space,” Castillo continued.

FIFA+ will be the globally exclusive, official streaming home for all OFC competitions for two years.

FIFA+ will highlight OFC tournaments, players, and stories, contributing to the growth of football globally and spotlighting Oceania football’s unique flair and potential.

Viewers can dive into the world of Oceania football – live and for free – from their tablets, phones, desktops, Smart TVs, and always-on FAST channels. With the addition of five new connected TV apps – Samsung TV, LG, VIDAA, Amazon Fire, and Android TV – and five new FAST channel platforms, including Samsung TV Plus, LG Channels, VIDAA Channels, The Roku Channel, and Rakuten TV, FIFA+ ensures that the beauty and excitement of football are within easy reach, no matter where you are.
