Odisha FC host Bengaluru FC tonight!

Odisha FC host Bengaluru FC tonight at the Kalinga Stadium, with the Kalinga Warriors looking to regain winning momentum.

Sergio Lobera’s side suffered a narrow loss in Kochi against Kerala Blasters in the Indian Super League last week. The squad will be looking to bounce back and shrug off last week’s result.

Tonight’s match will see Roy Krishna and Amrinder Singh going up against their former club.

Both sides come into this game level on points, having played four games each. The Blues Head Coach Simon Grayson emphasized that they will have to be disciplined and maintain defensive shape when they take on Sergio’s Odisha FC.

The Blues made six changes to their squad when they played East Bengal FC. It remains to be seen how Grayson lines up tonight. New signing Halicharan Narzary made his debut for Bengaluru FC last week.

“We saw Odisha FC narrowly missing out on the playoff spot last season, but eventually going on to win the Super Cup. They’ve brought in a new coach who is experienced in the ISL and roped in some quality foreigners who also know what it takes to play in the division.”

“We’re respectful of them, but we go out there knowing that we want to take three points back with us.” said Simon Grayson.

On the other hand, Odisha FC has suffered two consecutive defeats and is going through a tough period in the league. The squad will look to go out tonight to secure all three points at home.

Sergio Lobera’s side beat Maziya S&RC convincingly by a 6-1 margin when they last played at the Kalinga Stadium.

“It was painful, the last game for us but we are looking forward to playing Bengaluru FC.”

“When you lose one game, you want to immediately play the next game because it is an opportunity to show everyone that we can come back stronger.” expressed the Spanish tactician.

Roy Krishna and Diego Mauricio will be the headliners and to look out for tonight as a total of seven goals have been scored with the help of their involvement.

Odisha FC’s clash with Bengaluru FC will be broadcast live on Sports18, VH1, and live-streamed on JioCinema. For international fans, you can watch the game live on OneFootball (in select regions).

Kick-off is scheduled at 20:00 IST at the Kalinga Stadium.
