Odisha FC return to Bhubaneswar as they face Kerala Blasters!

Odisha FC returns home after a two-year hiatus as they host Kerala Blasters for their opening game at the Kalinga Stadium.

The last time both sides met each other, it ended up in a mouth-watering 4-4 draw at the Kalinga Stadium. The Juggernauts have a solid home record in which they have won four out of the six games played, drew one, and lost one.

Odisha FC will look to keep their stellar home record intact when they take on Kerala Blasters tonight. Head Coach Josep Gombau wants his team to go all out at the Kalinga Stadium tonight. “We are very happy to be back home after a long time and I am looking forward to starting a winning journey here at the Kalinga.”, said the Spanish tactician at the pre-match press conference.

Diego Mauricio will be the one to look out for as the Brazilian has already netted twice this season and will be highly motivated tonight in front of the home crowd. So far, he has scored five goals in three games against Kerala Blasters in his ISL career.

In their respective last games, both sides displayed a similar pattern in the final third. In a 5-2 loss against ATK Mohun Bagan, Kerala Blasters attempted 18 shots, out of which five were blocked, six were off-target, and seven tested the keeper.

Odisha FC will look to take advantage at home against a wounded Kerala Blasters tonight at the Kalinga Stadium.
