Odisha FC travel to Kolkata to face ATK Mohun Bagan!

Odisha FC will continue their quest for a playoff spot in the ISL as they return to action on Saturday, January 28.

Saturday’s clash against the Mariners presents a perfect opportunity for Josep Gombau’s men to climb up the ISL table.

The Spanish tactician will want his side to refocus on the fixture at hand, after their defeat to Bengaluru FC. The side will welcome Aniket Jadhav into the fold after the club signed the India International from East Bengal FC on a permanent move for an undisclosed fee.

At the pre-match press conference, Josep was elated to have a full-strength squad available ahead of our encounter against the Mariners. The Spaniard also mentioned Isak resuming training with the first team post his leave of absence and is happy to have the talented winger back in the squad and available for selection for the upcoming fixture.

Gombau also provided an update on Soosairaj resuming his personalized training program as the winger is not currently ready to resume training with the squad but is on the road to recovery as seen on the club’s social media handles earlier this week.

When asked about Aniket being ready for the game against ATK Mohun Bagan, Josep said that the winger has been training regularly the past week and will be involved in the game on Saturday.

The Eastern Dragons will travel to Kolkata on Friday, January 27 and will hope to return with a positive result against the Kolkata-based side.

Odisha FC is scheduled for another away trip to Chennai as they will take on Chennaiyin FC post the game on February 2.
