Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang joins Olympique Marseille!

Olympique de Marseille today announced the signing of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang. The striker signed with the Olympian club after the success of his medical examination.

Trained at AC Milan, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang began his career in the French ligue 1 where he successively wore the colours of Dijon, OSC Lille, AS Monaco and AS Saint-Etienne where he scored 41 goals in 97 games. He won the Coupe de la Ligue in 2013, the year in which he also won the Marc-Vivien Foé Award for the best African player in the championship.

He then signed for Borussia Dortmund. In four and a half seasons with the German Bundesliga club, the Gabonese international scored 141 goals and provided 36 assists. He was voted best player in the Bundesliga in the 2015-2016 season, top scorer in the league in 2016-2017 and remains to this day the top foreign scorer in the history of BVB. Two Super Cups and a German Cup are added to his record.

In the winter of 2018, he committed to Arsenal FC. After four years, 92 goals scored, a Community Shield, an FA Cup and a title of top scorer of the Premier League (season 2018-2019) won in the English capital, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang flies to Catalonia to FC Barcelona where he will be crowned Spanish Champion in 2022.

In the summer of the same year, he returned to London to join Chelsea FC.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is also the top scorer in the history of the Panthers of Gabon with 30 goals scored. He was also voted best African player of the year 2015 and appeared in the African team of the decade 2011-2020.
