Promoted Indian Super League side Punjab FC have announced the contract extenstion of Nepali goalkeeper Kiran Limbu for the 2023/24 season.
33 year old Kiran Kumar Chemjong Limbu, who was born in Dhankuta in Nepal, played locally and the ANFA Academy in his youth.
At senior level, Kiran Limbu played in Nepal for Machhindra FC, Three Star Club, and Manang Marshyangdi Club before joining Maldivian side TC Sports Club.
Thereafter he moved to India to join Minerva Punjab FC in 2018 to lift the 2017/18 I-League title. He returned to play for TC Sports Club and then had a second stint with now Punjab FC.
Kiran Limbu then went to play for his home town side Dhangadhi FC, then Maziya S&RC in the Maldives before returning to RoundGlass Punjab FC for a third stint last season.
The club gained promotion to the ISL and they have retained the keeper for the new campaign.
