Promoted Indian Super League side Punjab FC have announced a loan of midfielder Sahil Tavora from Hyderabad FC for the remainder of the 2023/24 season.
28 year old Dom Sahil Krishe de Noronha Tavora, who is born in Panaji in Goa, in his youth played for local acadeemy Brasil Futebol Academia beefore joining Sesa Football Academy and then Dempo SC.
Sahil Tavora madee his senior debut for Dempo SC in the Goa Pro League before playing I-League for them. Good performances earned him a move to FC Goa in the ISL and then he joined Mumbai City FC.
Sahil Tavora then tried his luck in Portugal in 2018 with lower division side GDSC Alvarenga.
He returned in 2019 and joined Hyderabad FC, where he had played the last four and a half years.
Now Sahil Tavora joins Punjab FC, who hope his ISL experience will help to strengthen their midfield.
