I-League side Rajasthan United FC have announced the contract extension of teenage midfielder Gyamar Nikum until summer 2026.
17 year old Gyamar Nikum born in Nyapin of Arunachal Pradesh played locally football before joining the Academy of Rajasthan United FC after impressing for Arunachal Pradesh in the junior nationals.
From the Academy, Gyamar Nikum quickly made it to the first team to play first in the 2021 I-League qualifiers and then a full season of the 2021/22 I-League.
Gyamar Nikum said, “I’m happy playing for Rajasthan United FC because this club gave me the opportunity to showcase my talent and I’ll be looking forward to join the team soon.”
Currently Gyamar Nikum is part of the India Under-20 squad at the SAFF U-20 Championships.
