Rajasthan United FC make four further signings!

I-League side Rajasthan United FC have announced the additional signing of four players before the 2022 summer transfer window closed.

Rajasthan United FC have signed goalkeepers Rafique Ali Sardar and Shubajit Basu as replacements for Niraj Kumar, who after signing in the summer joined Odisha FC, defender Beyong Kojam and winger Rohmingthanga Bawlte.

24 year old Kolkata-born goalkeeper Mohammad Rafique Ali Sardar played for city giants East Bengal Club and Mohun Bagan AC besides the Tata Football Academy at youth level. From TFA he progressed to ISL side Jamshedpur FC, where he was the understudy of seasoned keeper Subrata Pal.

29 year old Shubajit Basu is another goalkeeper signed by Rajasthan United, who has been a regular with the Indian Air Force and the Services side in the Santosh Trophy.

He spend time on loan with Mohammedan Sporting before returning to East Bengal for the last campaign. This summer he joined Kolkata newcomer Diamond Harbour FC before now moving to Rajasthan United FC.

18 year old Beyong Kojam, who has born in Arunachal Pradesh, played locally for Capital Complex FC and the Sangay Lahden Sports Academy and then joined the Tata Football Academy before now moving to Rajasthan United FC.

23 year old Rohmingthanga Bawlte, who was born in Lunglei in Mizoram, who played locally before playing for the Mohun Bagan Academy and the AIFF Elite Academy before being signed by Chennaiyin FC, where he only played for their Under-18s and B team. He then played for Indian Arrows, Aizawl FC and last season for Real Kashmir FC.
