Defending champions Real Kashmir FC scored a 2-1 win over I-League champions Gokulam Kerala FC in the semifinals of the 124th IFA Shield at the Kalyani Municipal Stadium today.
Captain Mason Robertson gave Real Kashmir FC a 23rd minute lead before Thoi Singh doubled their lead on the half hour mark. Real Kashmir FC took a 2-0 lead into the break.
But Gokulam Kerala FC reduced the deficit in the 47th minute through Ronald Singh, but it wasn’t to be as Real Kashmir FC won and reached the IFA Shield final.
Real Kashmir FC midfielder Shahnawaz Bashir was named the man of the match award.
