RoundGlass Punjab FC have added the duo of Mohammed Irshad and Samad Ali Mallick to their squad in the ongoing 2020/21 I-League.
The dup left SC East Bengal on loan mid-season after been deemed as not good enough for the Indian Super League. Mohammed Irshad made a few ISL appearances for the red and gold, while Samad Ali Mallick got no chance to show himself after having been a club regular in recent seasons.
Mohammed Irshad said, “I look forward to the time and the day I’ll put the shirt on and get on the pitch. I am looking forward to a great time ahead.”
Samad Ali Mallick said, “I am very happy. I am really excited about this move. I am here to prove a point.”
For RG Punjab FC the duo adds experience to their defensive unit for the remainder of the 2020/21 I-League.
