A charity football match to raise money for Ukrainian refugees and Remscheid’s partner city in Poland, Mragowo, was held in Remscheid on Friday, April 22.
The game featured a number of former footballers who have won amongst them the FIFA World Cup, UEFA European Championship, the Bundesliga and the old UEFA Cup.

Jens Nettekoven (Präsident, Deutscher Ringer-Bund; CDU Landtagsabgeordnete) hatte am Freitagabend ein Benefizspiel am Jahnplatz in Lüttringhausen für ukrainische Flüchtlinge sowie Remscheid’s Partnerschaft Mragowo in Polen organisiert.
Mit lokaler Hilfe in einer Remscheider Allstars Truppe und ehemalige Sportstars gab es ein gut besuchtes Fußballspiel.
