Super-sub Stephen Satarkar scored three late goals inside four minutes scoring in the 86th, 87th and 90th minute to give Salgaocar Juniors a perfect start to the Under-20 TACA Goa league with a 5-0 win over Corps of Signals at the 3MTR grounds in Navelim on Saturday.
The match kicked off with high intensity. Salgaocar FC broke the deadlock in the 31st minute through Ruflon Fernandes who headed the ball in from a perfect cross by Lalit Tariyal. Salgaocar were leading 1-0 at the break.
Crossing sides Salgaocar marched past through the Corps of Signals defence with beautiful combination play, but they had to wait for Devendra Murgaokar add to the scoreline by heading home a cross by Shayne Rodrigues. Stephen replaced Ruflon and was lethal scoring in the 86th, 87th and 90th minute thus completing a four minute hattrick.
