They were joined by elite European clubs such as AC Milan, FC Barcelona, Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund, Manchester City, Manchester United and Real Madrid who were part of rights holder group of over 300 who contributed to the vibrant business atmosphere.

In total, 1,504 delegates from 53 different countries flocked to this thriving new metropolis in the Guangdong Province, with the event delivering an important and timely platform in support the growth of the football industry in China. Speaking on the success of the first edition of Soccerex China, Soccerex Chairman, Tony Martin said, “We are absolutely thrilled with how our first event went. We exceed our expectations in terms of attendance and have been overwhelmed with the positive messages we have received from all quarters. I would like to thank our title sponsors the London Football Exchange and our network of local partners headed by De Heng Qin and Huafa Group – without their support this would not have been possible and we look forward to building on this success in future years.”

Next up for Soccerex is Soccerex USA, taking place in Miami on November 15/16 hosted in partnership with General American Capital Partners and with the support of CONCACAF.
