Historic Basque club Real Sociedad and Macron have presented the new “Home” and “Away” jerseys that the Donostia-San Sebastián team will wear the upcoming season.
The shirt has a round neck with black and white borders. The backneck is customised with the Real Sociedad logo and the Basque inscription REALA BARNEAN, translated as “Real inside. In the feeling. In the heart”. Also, on the inside of the collar is a sweatband with the same motto. Further characterising the jersey is the tone-on-tone graphic inside the blue stripes, featuring an optical/spray effect that fades to chest height where the lines are lighter, giving a stroke of light effect. On the right chest, the Macron Hero, the logo of the Italian brand, while on the left the crest of Real Sociedad. Below the neck appears the Basque flag Ikurrina, where two green and white crosses overlap on the red background.
The “Away” version, with a V-neck and white and pink inserts, is a vinaceous colour and features a pink graphic that creates a V repeated from top to bottom. The shape recalls the tip of the Macron Hero as well as the V of the collar. On the inside of the backneck is the REALA BERNAN motto, also present on the sweatband. On the right chest, the Macron Hero in silicone print and the Basque club crest on the left. The Basque flag is embroidered on the backneck.
