Rubén Sellés has coaching experience in Greece, Russia, Azerbaijan, Denmark, Spain and England.
Rubén Sellés has a Master’s degree in Sports & Physiology from the University of Valencia, and graduated from UEFA’s Pro Licence programme aged 25.
Rubén Sellés had joined Southampton FC as assistant coach to Ralph Hasenhüttl in June 2022. When Hasenhüttl was fired in November 2022, Rubén Sellés took interim charge for one game before Nathan Jones joined as new head coach.
After the departure of Nathan Jones earlier this month, Rubén Sellés once more took over as interim charge and now he has been given the manager’s role full-time until the end of the season.
