Spain’s RFEF, LALIGA & Liga F to work together!

For the first time in history, Spanish men’s and women’s football will work together through the new Coordination Committee that has been created today by the Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF), LALIGA and Liga F.

RFEF President Pedro Rocha, LALIGA President Javier Tebas, and Liga F President Beatriz Álvarez established this Committee today at the Ciudad del Fútbol in Las Rozas. A symbolic setting was chosen to do so, the new Sydney 2023 conference room, which pays homage to the Women’s World Cup winning team, where it gained the approval of the RFEF’s Board of Directors.

The aim is to work together to help the growth of Spanish football by means of joint committees that will meet periodically to monitor and evaluate issues and make decisions on executive matters. As a result, any issues where there might be differences of opinion can be resolved through dialogue to reach an agreement.

The Committee will be responsible for financial, competition and legal areas, among others, of the RFEF, LALIGA and Liga F. As of today, they will all be working together for the good of Spanish men’s and women’s football.
