LaLiga and the Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) inform that the LaLiga Santander Matchday 37 and 38 fixtures and the 41st and 42nd rounds of LaLiga SmartBank games will feature simultaneous kick-off times, as has been the case in previous seasons.
The simultaneous kick-off times will affect the scheduling of matches where the result has a direct bearing on the outcome of the championship title, both in the top flight and the second tier, the LaLiga Santander European qualification places and the relegation spots in both divisions, as well as the automatic promotion berths and the LaLiga Santander promotion play-off race in LaLiga SmartBank.
The results of the games which have no impact on the scenarios described in the previous paragraph may be scheduled outside of the simultaneous kick-off times. In any event, decisions regarding scheduling will be taken following the conclusion of Matchday 36 and/or 37 in LaLiga Santander and Matchday 40 and/or 41 in LaLiga SmartBank.
The simultaneous kick-offs will apply to games played on the following dates:
LALIGA SANTANDER:
Matchday 37: Thursday, July 16
Matchday 38: Sunday, July 19
LALIGA SMARTBANK:
Matchday 41: Friday, July 17
Matchday 42: Monday, July 20
