Former Indian Super League champions ATK of Kolkata today announced the signing of Spanish centre-back Victor Mongil Adeva for the remainder of the 2019/20 season.
27 year old Valladolid-born Victor Mongil Adeva made his first steps in football with local giants Real Valladolid, where he played in the Academy before making it to the Valladolid B team and then also making some appearances for the senior team.
Victor then went on to play for Atletico Madrid B for two seasons before spending time across Spain with CD Alcoyano, Merida AD, Pontevedra CF, and UD Levante B.
In early-2019, Victor left Spain to join Georgian giants Dinamo Tbilisi, where he spend the calendar year and successfully won the 2019 Georgian Erovnuli Liga.
Now Victor comes to Kolkata to replace an injured John Johnson at ATK, who hope he will give them defensive cover for Agustín García Iniguez and Carl McHugh.
