Qatar Stars League side Al Sadd Club have announced the signing of Spanish striker Rafa Mujica on a four-year deal starting from the 2024-25 season from Portuguese side FC Arouca.
Mujica joined English side Leeds United in 2019 on a three-year contract, signing from FC Barcelona B team but after several loan spells, he joined FC Las Palmas on a permanent basis in 2021.
However, he moved to Portugal to join FC Arouca in the summer of 2022, scoring a total of 37 times in 68 appearances in all competitions, including 20 in Portugal’s top flight this season.
Al-Sadd’s new striker Rafa Mujica said, “I am happy to join Al-Sadd Club, which has won many championships in Qatari football, and I hope to achieve all of my ambitions with my new team from the beginning of next season.”
“It feels great to sign for Al Sadd Club. I have great enthusiasm and passion for the beginning of my new phase with the club. I will give my best to help the team achieve victories.”
