Subhash Singh leaves Real Kashmir FC to rejoin NEROCA FC!

Experienced winger Subhash Singam Singh has left Real Kashmir FC to rejoin I-League rivals NEROCA FC for the remainder of the 2019/20 season.

29 year old Manipur-born Subhash Singam Singh played locally before joining the Sports Authority of India – Manipur before playing for Eastern Sporting Union in the Manipur State League.

Subhash went through his cousin Samson Singh to trials at then I-League side Air India and convinced coach Bimal Ghosh to sign him. He made a big money move to Kolkata giants East Bengal in 2009 but a year later moved on to Salgaocar FC, where he also didn’t succeed. He went on loan to Pune FC and then spend another two good seasons with PFC before signing for Shillong Lajong FC.

In 2014 in the first ISL draft, Subhash Singh was signed by Mumbai City FC where he most likely played the best match of his career in a 5-0 trashing of FC Pune City, scoring his only ever ISL goal.

Thereafter he went on loan to Kalyani Bharat FC and then Mohun Bagan before returning to his home state of Manipur to join NEROCA FC in 2016. At the end of the season, Subhash was part of the Second Division League title winning team and played the last couple of years in the I-League for NEROCA before signing for Real Kashmir FC last summer.

In the 2018/19 season, Subhash made 18 appearances scoring four goals and four assists, but at Real Kashmir FC he only made two appearances as he did not fit into the system of the team. Now he wants to resurrect his career by returning to NEROCA and helping them to stay in the I-League and looking for a move in the summer.
