Indian Super League champions ATK Mohun Bagan have announced that their young defender Sumit Rathi has extended his contract until summer 2025.
18 year old Muzaffarnagar-born Sumit Rathi came through the ranks before joining the AIFF Elite Academy before transitioning to the senior level with the AIFF Developmental side Indian Arrows.
ATK signed Sumit Rathi in 2018 with him getting exposure with ATK B in the Second Division League before having his breakthrough season with ATK in ISL-6, where he emerged as the Young Player of the Season.
Sumit Rathi said, “I am extremely grateful to the club for their trust in me and it gives me immense pride to represent ATK Mohun Bagan FC. I am very excited and honoured to don the green and maroon jersey next season.”
