Tata Football Academy grooms the next generation of footballers #3!

With the Jamshedpur FC Youth Team (TFA) away at the Reliance Foundation Development League, the focus shifts to the boys in Jamshedpur, who continue training at the Tata Football Academy under the able guidance of our coaches.

One such player is Ankit Choudhary, who plays as a goalkeeper for the U15s and has a bright future ahead of him.

“My father is a businessman and my mother is a teacher,” said Ankit Choudhary about his family background.

“My father really supported me to pick up football as a career after learning that this is what I wanted to do. I was a trainee at the Tinplate Feeder Centre and I heard about the trials through my coach and immediately did my online registration.”

A goalkeeper requires a lot of top-level training to be the best, and moving to an academy like TFA was the major reason why young Ankit decided to grab this opportunity with both hands.

“I have always wanted to be a part of TFA because I see myself being a part of the Jamshedpur FC family,” the 15-year-old remarked.

With inspirations such as Vishal Yadav, who has worked his way up from the youth team to the first team squad in front of him, there is no doubt that players like Ankit Choudhary have all the motivation to make it big at Jamshedpur FC.
